Chiropractic treatment and massage therapy can complement each other and support better healing. Massage therapy on its own also has many proven health benefits. You can enjoy massages at our clinic either as part of your chiropractic plan or on their own.
Like our chiropractors, our massage therapists use a combination of different therapeutic and energetic techniques to address the physical and emotional stresses causing tension in our bodies. This helps promote deep relaxation and healing.
Whether you are new to the practice or not, our massage clients start their massage journey with an initial consultation. This allows your massage therapist to fully understand your needs and goals for your massage care.
Pregnancy Massage
Pregnancy massage supports pregnant women both physically and emotionally. It is tailored specifically for the mum-to-be and is gentle and relaxing.
Using Swedish massage techniques, acupressure, lymphatic drainage and stretches, pregnancy massage ensures both mum and baby receive the best possible experience.
Massage care is suitable for any stage of your pregnancy. We provide a special pregnancy pillow to allow you to lie on your front and get the full experience.
You can choose from a 30-minute or 60-minute massages, unless you are having a pregnancy massage which requires 60 minutes.
We'd recommend 30 minutes if you're looking for a massage for one area of the body, like a neck and shoulder massage, for example. However, 60 minutes will be more suitable if you would like a full-body massage or more than one area of your body massaged.
If you’re new to our clinic, your initial appointment will have consultation time allocated before your massage begins, so please allow more than 60 minutes for your first visit.

Massage therapy should not be painful,to achieve relaxation of the muscles we need your body to be in a relaxed state, not one of stress and pain caused by massage that is too deep for your body to handle. This is why we provide more holistic deep tissue massage rather than sports massage at Pure Chiropractic . Your therapist will adjust the pressure to your comfort level and communicate with you throughout the session to ensure a positive experience.
How long does a massage session last?
Massage sessions typically last between 30 and 60 minutes, depending on the type of massage and the areas being treated.
